Assure 360

We’re delighted to announce that our continuing development drive has delivered three really important changes to the system. You’ll find them both in the Paperless app, and the Compliance desktop.

The first update is that we’ve revamped data entry for Personal Monitoring. This covers the New Personal Monitoring Test, where we’ve added some additional fields. We now ask for the Limit of Quantification (LoQ) as well as the calculated result. This means we can work out for you what the reported value should be. Similar changes have been introduced for the Supervisor, with the goal of eliminating some of the most common mistakes.

Talking of that, we’ve also added mouseover tips to help you avoid errors. The Mouseover buttons in the Compliance section look like a question mark. Point your mouse at them to get a tip, or further information that helps you input the right data.

We’ve also added a brand new way of calculating four-hour time-weighted averages (4Hr TWAs). This is for those times where you need to tell the story of a shift in which you did several short air tests for different activities. Now we have a new report called 4hrTWA Combination – find it in the Exposure drop down. Add the personals to the system in the normal way (ideally this is done by the supervisor in Paperless), then find the report and hit Generate.

The report presents all the compliant air tests – but crucially it sorts them into People, Sites and Dates. Select the ones you want to combine – for example all the tests on Bob that day – confirm that any leftover time was nil exposure (for example, because of lunch etc), and press Go. All the complex maths is done for you. It’s simple, like all the best solutions.

Competent persons

Finally phase one of our RPE (respiratory protective equipment) Competent Person (CP) solution is complete. Find the RPE reports in the People drop down. The main one to look for is the Overview report. This lists all of the operatives and supervisors on your books, tells you when the last CP inspection was completed, and allows you to record another. Phase two of the CP solution will be in the Paperless app, where we’ll create the path for a qualified Supervisor to do this for you.

As with all our updates, we hope that these ones add useful functionality to the Assure360 system, while keeping the ease-of-use we’re renowned for. If you have ideas for how we can make Assure360 even better, keep an eye out for our next quarterly support webinar in early 2025!
