Assure 360

On Tuesday 16th of July, Rick hosted our first client forum – a new webinar series to help build even closer bonds with our community. It was a resounding success, and will become a quarterly event to put in your calendar – the next instalment will come in the autumn.

On his first outing, Rick went through some of the key improvements and enhancements that we’ve released in recent months. This was a great chance to show customers our elegant hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS) solution, but we also went through our innovative approach to Minor Works. This feature is built to simplify small, non-licensed projects, so that they’re easy to set up – and most importantly easy for the supervisor to run.

Next came the people module, which has been totally revamped into a bonafide skills-tracking matrix. Finally, Rick covered the Site Diary auto text feature, where the team can determine which text appears on the app to help them record the detail that they need.

In the forum I was struck by a common thread, running through all of these new features and improvements. In each case we’ve built powerful solutions, but kept them simple to use. Powerful and simple: like all the best ideas.

Where next?

Rick went on to introduce one of the most important sections of the forum format, and one we hope will become increasingly crucial: ‘Where do we go next?’.

We see the client forum as an opportunity for clients to help guide our future development. For us, it’s a chance to hear from our customers about the issues they face, the features they’d like, and the ways we can improve our system to help them get the most from it. It’s great to hear first-hand about the challenges our clients face, because understanding what these are allows us to create simple solutions.

I say simple, but they’ll definitely never be simplistic. Our approach is always to find a straightforward, elegant solution that makes the supervisor’s life easier, but which provides crucial data for the office. We’re proud of our track record on that score, which was summed up some time ago by the words of an HSE inspector after they encountered our solution:

“What is particularly impressive about [Assure360] is the fact that it doesn’t just collect numbers. It presents information that allows you to make sensible decisions about the business”.

Again, we make data gathering simple, then use the data to create powerful solutions that deliver real, quantifiable return on investment for our customers.

"[It] helps me take a hands-on approach across our sites. I'm not tied up in paperwork, so I can spend time staying in touch with commercial, quality and safety decisions."
